Today we head to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, beginning our circuit of Iceland. Pass the classic Black Church, experience the peninsula known as Iceland in miniature, and photograph small seaside villages. Volcanoes, glaciers, wilderness, and fjords all come together here. Continue to Arnarstapi, a busy harbor and popular destination where unusual sea cliffs with hollow centers can be seen.

At dawn, photograph sunrise over Arnarstapi's sea-eroded rocks, then explore and photograph beautiful Snæfellsjökull, coastal cliffs, jagged rocky beaches, long canyons, and charming fishing villages. Dormant volcanoes and icefields coexist on western Snæfellsnes. Many of Iceland's oldest volcanoes stand here; despite millennia of dormancy, well-preserved terrain vividly recalls their flowing lava.

After photographing Kirkjufell early in the morning, head to Reykholt to photograph Hraunfossar, then continue to Hvítserkur. Hvítserkur is a 15-meter-high basalt formation rising from fjord waters in northwestern Iceland. It formed from an ancient volcanic magma eruption. After surrounding rock was washed away by the sea, the remaining formation came to resemble a prehistoric rhinoceros. Its unusual shape appears to be an inspired masterpiece of the sea.

The Mývatn region is famed for unique volcanic terrain: black volcanoes, colorful jade-like hot springs, and rich autumn colors are deeply moving. Námaskarð geothermal area, Skútustaðagígar pseudocraters, and Dimmuborgir's dark castle-like lava formations are must-visits. We will select characteristic volcanoes and lava landscapes to capture this palette of color. Stay near Goðafoss for convenient nighttime aurora photography!

In northern Iceland's wilderness, Goðafoss shines like a jewel set into the earth, linked to the land by veins of volcanic rock. Sculpted by ice and fire, this region is dotted with countless waterfalls, large and small, and winding river meanders. Every bend conceals a natural wonder that takes photographers' breath away. Iceland's northern and southern landscapes have distinctly different characteristics. Glaciers and lakes dominate the south, while volcanic terrain defines the north, with Mývatn a prime example. Temperatures here are at least 7 degrees lower than in the south. Stuðlagil Canyon lies in eastern Iceland's Jökuldalur, meaning 'glacial valley,' and is one of the country's newly popular attractions. Magnificent, sharply defined hexagonal basalt columns stand in orderly ranks on both sides of a rushing glacial river, creating an expansive and spectacular scene. Increasing numbers of visitors make a special journey to this lesser-known eastern Iceland location for hiking and photography.

Iceland's Bat Mountain lies between Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon on the south coast and the Eastfjords. This beautiful southeastern peak is known locally as Vestrahorn, or 'West Horn.' Because its shape resembles a bat with wings spread, it is also called Bat Mountain. An immense black-sand beach stretches beneath it, a powerful and unforgettable sight.

Today photograph Diamond Beach. Ice in the glacial lagoon melts rapidly while new chunks continually break from the glacier. Once sufficiently small, pieces drift to sea and waves wash them back onto the beach. Crystal-clear ice lies on black sand, giving the beach its name, Diamond Black Sand Beach.

Rows of many-sided columns stand vertically along steep cliffs. Their appeal lies less in fanciful jagged shapes than in rich colors and natural forms. They were formed from hot magma: as lava surged to the cliff edge, it flowed rapidly downward and continued down the rock face for a prolonged period. Freezing weather cooled and solidified the molten lava quickly. Nature's careful carving produced orderly rows of columns along the cliffs, resembling Reykjavík's cathedral at first glance, hence the name Organ-Pipe Cliffs. Nature has sculpted dark, hard basalt into an exquisite organ, an astonishing sight. The organ-pipe cliffs and black beach stand together, watching over this magnificent sea.

Today photograph famous Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall, one of Iceland's best-known waterfalls, then visit and photograph the geysers. Geysir geothermal area offers forceful eruptions, dreamlike steam, colorful geothermal terrain, and, less romantically, pungent odors. Return to the capital and walk Reykjavik's streets, recording its charm.

In force majeure circumstances, such as natural disasters, war or strikes, or exceptional events including flight delays or cancellations and consular visa delays, the organizing team reserves the right to cancel or modify the itinerary. We will nevertheless try within our ability to minimize participants' losses;

Availability and registration
This website accepts expressions of interest in this trip and does not synchronize the operator's remaining places in real time. Please contact us to confirm group departure, availability, the final quotation and booking conditions.
Cancellation and breach provisions
Before departure, participants and the organizing team may sign a written travel contract or give notice terminating the trip agreement. The contract is legally binding. If termination is requested more than 120 days before departure, excluding day 90, neither party is liable for breach. Days are calculated by subtracting the date the termination notice is received from the departure date; the same calculation applies below. If the organizing team terminates, all travel fees must be refunded without deducting visa or entry-permit fees. If a participant terminates after a visa or entry permit has been processed or a flight purchased, the relevant visa, entry-permit and flight cancellation charges are deducted. The organizing team must refund the travel fees within 5 working days of receiving the termination notice. If either party terminates within 120 days of departure, including day 120, the terminating party bears liability for breach. [Participant liability] Participants terminating the agreement within 120 days of departure must pay the organizing team a business-loss charge according to the following schedule: 119 to 90 days before departure: 10% of the total trip fee; 89 to 60 days before departure: 40% of the total trip fee; 59 to 30 days before departure: 70% of the total trip fee; 29 to 1 days before departure: 100% of the total trip fee; Deposit deadlines and the handling of late payments are pending confirmation with the operator. If these percentages do not cover the organizing team's actual losses, the participant must compensate the actual losses, up to the total trip fee. After deducting the business-loss charge, the organizing team must refund the remaining travel fees within 5 working days of receiving the participant's cancellation notice.

Once issued, they cannot be endorsed to another carrier or refunded. 2. Actual flight, driving and boat travel times on the day apply. 3. Airlines and flight schedules above are for reference only. Changes to flight times may require minor itinerary adjustments; the departure notice takes precedence. [Accommodation] Accommodation is based on 2 people sharing 1 room. We will try to pair solo participants with another participant of the same gender. Participants who do not wish to share, or cannot be matched, must pay the single supplement for a room of their own. [Group meals] We try to choose meals suited to Chinese tastes and ensure that every guest receives an adequate portion. [Photography] 1. Photography activities follow the itinerary. In exceptional circumstances, time spent photographing each location will depend on the actual conditions that day. 2. Please read this itinerary carefully and choose a photography trip suited to your circumstances. If you give up part of the itinerary for personal reasons, including health, or request to forgo accommodation or transport, this is considered voluntary withdrawal. expenses already incurred are non-refundable. You are responsible for your personal safety while not participating in the itinerary. 3. Participants may not leave the group without permission during group photography activities, except during free time. Leaving partway through the trip is considered a breach by the participant. Unused photography activities, meals, accommodation and vehicle services are non-refundable, and the organizing team is not responsible for accidents occurring while the participant is away from the group. 4. If force majeure events such as typhoons or blizzards prevent travel according to the agreed itinerary, additional or reduced expenses following changes will be settled according to the travel agency's actual group operating expenses. [Payment adjustments] the organizing team reserves the right to adjust the amount payable if major fluctuations in international oil benchmarks cause substantial increases in fuel surcharges. If the increase is within what we can absorb, the trip fee will not be adjusted. [Departure notice] 1. The departure notice will be sent no later than 1 day before departure. If arrangements are confirmed earlier, we will notify you as soon as possible. 2. If the online itinerary differs from the departure notice, the departure notice takes precedence. [Optional activities at your own expense] Under the Tourism Law provisions prohibiting travel agencies from organizing or arranging optional activities at additional expense, guests wishing to join such activities should contact the service provider themselves for information, payment details and participation. If language difficulties lead you to ask a guide or tour leader for additional assistance, any paid or unpaid help is provided solely in that person's individual capacity, not on behalf of the organizing team or the local receiving agency. the organizing team has no involvement in the expenses, transaction amounts or service standards of free-time activities; guests bear the outcomes themselves.
