October brings autumn foliage to Benxi. Over six days, photograph forest and lake landscapes around Guanmen Mountain, Laobiangou, Dadi Forest Park and Dashi Lake.
Guanmen Mountain and Wucai Lake
Take the scenic shuttle into Guanmen Mountain, then photograph the autumn forest on the return toward Wucai Lake.
Laobiangou and Dadi Forest Park
Spend a full photography day at each location, working with changing light across the autumn forest.
Dashi Lake and nearby locations
Spend roughly half a day at Dashi Lake; Yanghugou and Laoniujiao may follow, depending on conditions.

Arrive in Shenyang from your departure city. Meet the airport pickup at Shenyang Taoxian Airport around noon. Meals are arranged as circumstances permit, followed by hotel check-in. Photograph the evening sky if time allows, then dinner.

DAY 02Oct 13 · Beijing · Asia/ShanghaiAutumn foliage at Guanmen Mountain and Wucai Lake
Breakfast at the hotel at 07:00; depart at 07:30 for Guanmen Mountain. Take the arranged electric shuttle to the end of the scenic area and photograph on the way back, finishing at Wucai Lake. Return to the hotel by vehicle at 17:00, then dinner.

What to know before you go
Booking and airline tickets
Flights arranged on a participant's behalf use economy-class group tickets. Before tickets are issued, check the airline's rules for changes and refunds.
Room sharing
Accommodation is arranged for two people sharing a room. We'll try to match solo travelers with a roommate of the same gender. A single supplement applies if you prefer not to share or no roommate is available.
Photography and itinerary changes
Photography times may change with the weather and local conditions. Consider your health and fitness before joining. Stay with the group except during free time; you bear the risks if you leave without permission. Events beyond our control may require itinerary changes.
Fuel surcharge adjustments
If fuel surcharges rise substantially, we may adjust the amount payable. We will leave it unchanged when the increase remains within what we can absorb.
Departure briefing
We'll send your final trip details no later than the day before departure, and sooner if arrangements are confirmed. If those details differ from the online itinerary, the final trip details take precedence.
Independent optional activities
Participants arrange optional activities directly with the service provider. Any communication assistance from a guide or leader is given in a personal capacity. Participants decide on and take responsibility for these independent activities and transactions.
