Kuerbin River and snowy forests This six-day photography trip explores Yichun's winter landscapes and town life. Snow-covered forests, delicate rime and quiet streets offer different perspectives on a northeastern winter. In the Lesser Khingan Mountains, the flowing Kurbin River contrasts with the surrounding snow. Its dark blue water and frost-covered trees create striking compositions. Daqing Mountain sunrise and rime Dawn spreads across the horizon, and orange light kisses the Lesser Khingan Mountains. On Daqing Mountain, towering wind turbines stand over snowfields, immense cloud seas flow through valleys, and rime-covered forests rest on peaks. Natural grandeur and human-made wind power combine in an epic northern winter sunrise. Jinshan deer park and forest birds At Jinshan Deer Park in Yichun, deer move through the snow beneath the forests of the Lesser Khingan Mountains. Falling snow softens the woodland, while small birds flutter among the branches. These quiet encounters with wildlife bring a gentle warmth to the northern winter.
