Go beyond the view.

When northern winds bring sweeping snow, Yichun's winter holds a different warmth: not a blazing stove, but tranquil snowy forests, transparent rime crystals, and the everyday human warmth of a northeastern town. This 6-day photography trip explores forest capital Yichun, capturing exceptional frozen landscapes and encountering winter's special gentleness in city streets and countryside. Deep winter blankets the Lesser Khingan Mountains, frosting every tree and stretching snowfields endlessly. Only the Kurbin River escapes the ice, winding through forest. Deep blue flowing water against boundless white snow creates a grand, clear, cold northeastern winter landscape.
