01 / THE PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY
Go beyond the view.
The Yuanyang Rice Terraces lie in the southern Ailao Mountains of Yuanyang County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan, a masterpiece handed down through generations of Hani people. The land resembles a natural palette, displaying a rich range of colors as seasons change. Yuanyang’s terraces are a photographer’s paradise. Countless photographers come to capture fleeting moments of beauty here, where any angle or play of light may become a classic image. In spring, summer, autumn or winter, Yuanyang’s terraces offer different surprises.
