Xavi Zhuang graduated from the Photography Department of South China Normal University. Zhuang specialises in landscape, documentary, mobile and drone photography, and has provided photography lectures and training for public institutions, universities, banks, utilities, cultural organisations and companies including Shenzhen Library, the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, China Southern Power Grid, UnionPay International, Standard Chartered Bank, Ping An Bank, Bank of China, Industrial Bank, China Merchants Bank, Agricultural Bank of China and SF Express.

Photography fieldwork Zhuang has repeatedly led photography trips to destinations including Turkey, the Balkans, Japan, Eastern Europe, Semporna, Israel, Cuba, Iran, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Spain, Namibia, Bangladesh, Russia, Cambodia, Chiang Mai, Myanmar, Italy, Portugal, Morocco and many regions of China.
