Take the 360° rotating cable car to the summit (included). If 'tablecloth cloud' occurs, visit Signal Hill instead for panoramic Cape Town photography. (If weather or other external factors close Table Mountain, Signal Hill is the alternative.) Table Mountain, also called 'God's Table,' is Cape Town's most recognizable landmark. Many small animals inhabit the mountain, and fossils of marine life have been found at its foot. When white clouds drift across its flat top, locals call the scene 'the tablecloth.' After hotel breakfast, visit Seal Island by catamaran (included, approximately 45 minutes) to photograph seal colonies. Strong sea breezes make a windproof jacket advisable. At Penguin Beach, enter Boulders Beach (admission included) and photograph African penguins from the wooden boardwalks (feeding prohibited). In the afternoon, visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, described as the southernmost tip of Africa, where land and sea meet (approximately 1.5 hours inside). It retains its primitive character. Visitors may take the old-style funicular uphill to the 238-meter summit of Cape Point (one-way ascent), overlooking the boundless meeting of Atlantic and Indian Ocean waters beneath the sky. Visit South Africa's largest wine estate region, Franschhoek, the 'French town.' Founded in October 1687 by Stel, the town welcomed 176 French Huguenots the following year who had crossed the ocean to escape religious persecution. They brought French grape varieties, winemaking, architecture, and ways of life, giving the town a strong French character and making this beautiful place a fragrant wine center, the Provence of the Southern Hemisphere. Its quiet, beautiful valley, combined with French romance and heritage, created today's Franschhoek. The area has more than 300 wineries of all sizes. As South Africa represents New World wine production, tasting several local reds and whites is a delight for wine lovers; even those uninterested in wine will find the scenery hard to leave. Cancellation and breach provisions (source text)
Before departure, participants and the organizing team may sign a written travel contract or give notice terminating the trip agreement. The contract is legally binding. If termination is requested more than 120 days before departure, excluding day 90, neither party is liable for breach. Days are calculated by subtracting the date the termination notice is received from the departure date; the same calculation applies below. If the organizing team terminates, all travel fees must be refunded without deducting visa or entry-permit fees. If a participant terminates after a visa or entry permit has been processed or a flight purchased, the relevant visa, entry-permit and flight cancellation charges are deducted. The organizing team must refund the travel fees within 5 working days of receiving the termination notice. If either party terminates within 120 days of departure, including day 120, the terminating party bears liability for breach. [Participant liability] Participants terminating the agreement within 120 days of departure must pay the organizing team a business-loss charge according to the following schedule: 119 to 90 days before departure: 10% of the total trip fee; 89 to 60 days before departure: 40% of the total trip fee; 59 to 30 days before departure: 70% of the total trip fee; 29 to 1 days before departure: 100% of the total trip fee; Failure to pay the agreed deposit percentage by the deadline is treated as voluntarily relinquishing the charter of this vessel; If these percentages do not cover the organizing team's actual losses, the participant must compensate the actual losses, up to the total trip fee. After deducting the business-loss charge, the organizing team must refund the remaining travel fees within 5 working days of receiving the participant's cancellation notice.
